Dr. Dominick Gadaleta Double board-certified facial plastic surgeon

As a teenager, Dr. Gadaleta suffered a severe facial trauma that required the care of an expert plastic surgeon. This experience left an indelible impression on him, spurring an interest in medicine.

In the same period, he discovered a deep passion for drawing, painting, and sculpting, which he continues today. While enrolled in medical school at Boston University, Dr. Gadaleta decided to pursue facial plastic surgery to combine his twin passions.

Education and training

Dr. Gadaleta excelled throughout his education. After completing medical school at Boston University, he continued to advance his knowledge at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, with five years of high-volume surgical training solely dedicated to procedures of the face and neck. Dr. Gadaleta then had the honor of being selected to be the sole Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at New York University, one of less than 50 positions offered throughout the entire country.

Training in New York City offered Dr. Gadaleta the rare opportunity to learn under some of the world’s most renowned facial surgeons, where he focused on both surgical and non-surgical approaches to facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and hair restoration.

After training, Dr. Gadaleta moved to the San Francisco Bay area with his wife to start his practice. He quickly developed a reputation for his warm, compassionate bedside manner and for achieving exceptionally natural results. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, approachable, friendly, professional care. In 2022, Dr. Gadaleta teamed up with friend and colleague Dr. Timothy Ortlip to co-found OG Aesthetics, Menlo Park’s premier facial plastic surgery practice. Dr. Gadaleta is an active member of the prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and he is board certified through the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition to his clinical accomplishments, Dr. Gadaleta is an avid researcher, working in some of the most cutting-edge spaces in medicine, including 3D printing and tissue engineering. He has presented his original research at national meetings throughout the country.

On a personal note…

Dr. Gadaleta lives in the Bay Area with his wife, Marielle, and their two daughters in the Bay Area. He enjoys listening to good music (everything from rock to jazz to funk) on his vinyl record player. When he’s not at work, Dr. Gadaleta is typically out enjoying one of his additional hobbies, which include photography, cooking, painting, whittling, or hiking with his dog, Ham.
