This lovely 63 year old female was bothered by the heaviness and tired look that aging had imparted through the years. On exam, in addition to lower eyelid and jawline changes, it was noted that she also had excessive fullness in the area of the submandibular gland region. She is now 3 months recovered from scarless lower eyelid surgery with conservative fat grafting and a preservation extended release deep plane facelift with deep structural neck lifting. In her case, both of her submandibular glands were reduced to further improve her neck and submental contour. Although she continues to have mild swelling, which is typical after more extensive deep neck work, her results already speak for themselves and have provided her with a refreshed and natural restoration.
